Giving to the Library

The Robinson Township Library welcomes volunteers, monetary donations, books, and other media materials to enhance services to the community. Donations will be accepted at the discretion of the library.

Currently Not accepting Book Donations

We are preparing to re-locate the library at the end of 2024, and are unable to take extra items for donation at this time. We look forward to resuming our book donation policy in early 2025 at the new location.

Book Donations

Donated books will be analyzed by our collection development staff. Books not placed in the library's collection may be placed in book sales, the proceeds of which benefit our library.

Please bring books in boxes and drop them off during open business hours.

We accept:

  • New or like-new books published within the last 5 years.

  • Clean copies of classic titles.

  • Children's books in good condition.

We do not accept:

  • CD, DVDs, & vinyl records

  • Audiobooks

  • Encyclopedias

American Girl Donations:

We welcome any donations of new or gently-used American Girl historical dolls, clothing and books to help build future kits. You can drop off any suitable material to our circulation desk.

If you do not have a doll and are interested in donating, monetary funding is needed for carrying cases, maintenance, and administrative costs, as well as ensuring a wide diversity of new dolls.

Donations of any amount are accepted. To donate to the American Girl Collection, you can make checks payable to “ACLA American Girl Collection” or you can make a donation online through the program’s Crowdrise site.
